What is the appropriate clothing and footwear?

Weather is changeable in the West of Ireland so layers always work, comfortable footwear is a must, Umbrellas often don't work well in Galway!

How can I pay for the walk?

Payment can be made using your credit card through Eventbrite.

What is the cost of the walk?

Ten Euro per person, Children under 12 are free.

Should I tip the guide?

Tipping is customary but of course optional, 10/20 per cent would be the norm.

Where can I park my car?

For the Galway City walks there are several car parks within easy distance of Eyre Sq. Parking at Galway Docks can be an easy option.

Is the walk wheelchair friendly?

Yes, Galway is flat and apart from usual kerbs wheelchair friendly. (Though advisable to check with your  guide beforehand)

Will there be Covid-19 precautions?

All guides will wear masks or visors, social distancing must be observed.  The guides have all undertaken the Failte Ireland Covid-19 Safety Charter.

Are there any restroom facilities en route?

For the Galway City Walks, there are a limited number of restrooms available, for the Galway County walk check with your guide beforehand.

Can I bring my dog on the walk?

Most guides welcome well behaved dogs on leads.
