Information:
The starting point for the Barna Woods walk is Lough Rusheen Car Park. The car park is immediately to the left after the Texaco Station on the Barna Road, when travelling west from Galway city. It has no signposts. It is best to Google Texaco Service Station, Barna Road.Members of the Galway Tour Guides Association have completed the Failte Ireland COVID-19 Safety Charter. This charter is designed to add reassurance to employers, employees and customers that their business is ready to re-open and operate safely. All walks are limited to 15 people as per government guidelines. Galway Walking Festival will email participants a short COVID-19 questionnaire the day before their walk. Participants will be asked to complete this online before each walk. If participants are unable to attend their walk due to feeling unwell, a refund will be offered. Accessible to all. Duration approximately 2 hours.
